Brand New Ride At Blackpool Pleasure Beach Resort
Brace yourself for an all-new thrill at Pleasure Beach Resort this year. Aviktas is a colossal £8.72 million Gyro Swing - the first of its kind in the UK, right here in Blackpool. Riders will face outwards with their legs dangling as the pendulum swings 138 feet into the air at an incredible 120-degree angle, making you feel like you’re soaring straight out to sea. Pleasure Beach Ice Shows
Pleasure Beach Resort launches two new productions this year to celebrate 90 years of incredible Hot Ice shows - Hot Ice XC, and the family-friendly Alice, Frozen in a Wonderland of Dreams. World-class skaters, daredevil moves, and dazzling costumes, guaranteed.
Monet Masterpiece Arrives
Spring 2026 is your chance to see a masterpiece up close! From 28 March to 13 June 2026, Blackpool’s Grundy Art Gallery will display Monet’s famous painting, The Petit Bras of the Seine at Argenteuil, as part of The National Gallery Masterpiece Tour 2025-27. The Grundy is one of only four UK venues chosen to be part of the tour.
Southbeach Streetfood
Set to open on South Promenade in spring 2026, Southbeach Streetfood will bring a festival feel to Flagstaff Gardens. Made from 19 repurposed shipping containers, this family-friendly hub will serve up everything from street eats to sweet treats, with live entertainment, rooftop terraces, and a buzzing community vibe.
Miss Saigon Takes Centre Stage
World-famous musical Miss Saigon lands at Blackpool Winter Gardens from 30 June – 4 July 2026, bringing soaring music, powerful performances, and epic staging to the Opera House. A real bucket-list show. It’s a limited run of a modern classic, so book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
Britain's Got Talent Returns
Britain’s Got Talent is in its 19th season this year, and its Blackpool auditions air this spring. Will another local follow in 2025 winner Harry Moulding’s footsteps? We look forward to seeing Strictly Come Dancing return to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, where celebs and pros will glide beneath its dazzling chandeliers.
