Blackpool might be a town steeped in tradition but we’re rewriting history with a range of new accommodation that adds a new dimension to our existing top-quality hotels and guest houses.
To ensure your stay is exactly what you’re hoping for, we would encourage you to look for quality assessment accreditation such as the VisitEngland blue quality rose, the AA gold plaque, or the blue sign of our Blackpool Approved Entry Level Accreditation Scheme. Don't forget to look out for the 'Good to Go' accreditation too. This green tick means that an establishment has all the relevant COVID-preventative measures to ensure you have a safe stay.
Come to the resort and experience a taste of ‘city life on the beach’ with the warmth and charm of a seaside town coupled with the style and elegance of a major metropolis. One of the first next-generation hotels, the Hampton by Hilton, opened at South Beach in 2018. The second, the Boulevard, followed in 2019.
By the end of 2022, there will be another two new hotels on the block:
Sands Venue Resort Hotel Blackpool
Get ready for Blackpool’s first five-star hotel. The Sands Venue Resort Hotel will open on Central Promenade offering guests’ unparalleled luxury.
Boasting the largest penthouse suite outside London alongside 92 state-of-the-art suites and rooms, it will offer a sumptuous spa, two-rosette dining with panoramic views and an Art-Deco reception serving delicious afternoon tea. You’ll also find The Wild West Diner, an authentic themed American-style family eatery serving big mouth-watering steaks, burgers, ribs, and chicken dishes.
The autumn of 2022 will see one of the main gateways into Blackpool transformed by the opening of a new four-star Holiday Inn, Marco Pierre White New York Italian restaurant and tramway extension linking the main rail station at Blackpool North to the seafront.
The 144-bedroom hotel is the latest in a series of 'next generation' hotels to be built in Blackpool.
