Euro 2020 in Blackpool

Football’s coming home! The biggest football tournament of the year is finally here. If you’re away from home and enjoying yourself in the UK’s favourite seaside resort, don’t miss out on supporting England, Wales or Scotland in the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament.

There are several places in Blackpool for you to grab a cold beverage, bag your seat and catch the action. Take a look at our selection of venues below. May we politely note that social distancing and the rule of six indoors still apply until July 19 at the earliest. Please ensure any celebrations are carried out safely.

Blackpool South Pier

Kicking off our list is Blackpool South Pier. The iconic pier known for its adrenaline-fuelled rides has recently installed a 3m outdoor screen adjacent to The Gin House for you to enjoy all the England games. There will also be indoor screens inside The Gin House too. No booking is required, but arrive early to secure your spot.

Blackpool Central Pier

The family-friendly Pirates Bay on Central Pier will have an indoor screen for you to watch the England games. The pier will also host family entertainment before, during and after the matches. Again, no booking is required, but arrive early to reserve your table.

Walkabout Blackpool

Located in the town centre, Walkabout is showing every fixture of the European Championships on large HD screens. You do need to a book a table in advance though. Book here.

Counting House

This former bank has been converted into a fun-filled bar in the heart of Blackpool, opposite North Pier. Decorated in Euro 2020 style bunting, the Counting House is one of the best spots to watch the footy.

VIVA Vegas Bar and Diner

Set on Blackpool’s iconic Golden Mile, the VIVA Vegas Diner offers a trip back in time to the fabulous era of the 1950’s. This retro diner boasts some of Blackpool’s biggest LED screens, along with other huge 60″ TV screens around the venue for you to soak up the football fever. We recommend booking in advance if there are more than four people in your party. 

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Football fans planning a fun family day out in the coming weeks no longer have to choose between cheering on their team and screaming on rollercoasters as Blackpool Pleasure Beach are showing a selection of Euro 2020 in The Hub. A giant screen has been installed so that fans don’t have to miss a moment of their team’s important games.

Selected matches are being shown, including:

  • Wednesday 16th June 2.00pm – Finland VS Russia
  • Thursday 17th June 2.00pm – Ukraine VS North Macedonia
  • Friday 18th June 2.00pm – Sweden VS Slovakia
  • Saturday 19th June 2.00pm – Hungary VS France

The New Philly

The New Philly is a lively family-friendly venue located just behind the Promenade. They will be showing all the fixtures in their spacious sports bar area. Everyone is welcome, and there is no need to book. Find out more about the New Philly here. 

Uncle Tom's Sports Bar

Don't miss a moment of the action at Ma Kelly's Showboat and Sports Bar located at North Shore. Complete with an 20 screens, a large projector and an extensive beer garden, this lively watering hole is showing the main fixtures with no requirement to book ahead of time. It is first come, first served so we suggest arriving early. 

Marley’s Rum Bar

Marley’s Rum Bar is the newest addition to Blackpool’s hospitality scene, recently opening in May 2021. The Caribbean-themed bar offers a delicious street food experience and specialises in rums around the world. Sit back and enjoy the match in a vibrantly colourful interior inspired by none other than Bob Marley!
Two large projector screens will show the match and, even better, their Karaoke and Sports Lounge can be privately hired for up to 12 people (two tables of six until COVID restrictions ease) for a personal experience with your friends or family. Book here.
