Lantern-Making Workshop - 4, 11, 18, 25 October
All ages are invited to take part in a drop-in lantern-decorating workshop with artist Janine Walker at Blackpool’s newest creative venue, The Old Electric, from 4-6pm on Mondays during selected dates in October. The lanterns will then be installed and ready to view from October 27-29. Find out more.
LumiDogs Workshop – 26 September, 2, 9, 17, 24 October
Bark by ‘pup’ular demand! LumiDogs returns for Lightpool 2021! We are hosting a series of free make and create workshops across Blackpool, and inviting dog owners and their pooches to create your dog’s very own Lumi jacket.
All those taking part will be encouraged to join us and take part in the Illuminated Tram Parade on 27 October, followed by an illuminated dog-friendly walk around Lightpool Festivals spectacular art trail. Find out more.
During the workshop’s you will be working alongside a team of ‘rex’perts and costume designers as they assist you in the creation of the most perfect and bespoke illuminated costume for your dog.
