The World Fireworks Championships are back in Blackpool!
The World Fireworks Championships take place in Blackpool between the 6th and 27th September, when some of the world’s best pyrotechnic artists will be in town to light up the night sky in superb and spectacular fashion.
The best thing is that it’s all free. Simply take your place anywhere along the famous promenade on one of the evenings listed (each event is on a Friday night). Bring the whole family down, as if last year was anything to go by, the kids – parents and grandparents too – will be in awe of the breathtaking spectacle overhead.
Friday 6 September: Estonia, Pyrocom
Friday 13 September: Canada, Orion Fireworks
Friday 20 September: Ukraine, Dance of Fire
Friday 27 September: Celebratory display and winners announcement from Titanium Fireworks.
The event starts from 7.30pm, with the first fireworks firing from approximately 8.30pm.
Safety Note: Please be aware that tramway and Promenade roadway are both open and operational, so please ensure you stay a safe distance from the tramway and road and cross safely at the crossings.
We want you to be our FOURTH judge.
Each Friday afternoon of our fireworks competition, we will post a form below for you to complete, which is the same criteria our judges use to mark the fireworks each week. This will make the public our fourth judge! Check back to fill in the form later this week!
Titanium Fireworks Comeptition
Each week during the competition stages of World Firework Championships Blackpool, Titanium Fireworks are asking you to post your pictures and use the hastag: #BplTfComp and #BplFireworks
Titanium will then pick a winner the following Wednesday and you’ll be invited down to North Pier once it’s closed off to the public next Friday, given a tour and placed in a prime position for photos when the firing starts!
