The final stretch of Blackpool’s February Festival is here. Day Four brings prima ballerinas, flying napkins and ‘Saturday Night Fever’ on a Sunday. It’s your last chance to take advantage of some free and ticketed events to round-off the festival.

Starting from Houndshill Shopping Centre - 11.30am, 1pm & 3pm (30 min performances)

DJ’s (11.30am & 3pm)

Bringing you the ultimate mash‑up of Saturday Night Fever glamour and Sunday Night at the Palladium showmanship, this dazzling act delivers a glitter‑soaked celebration of music, mullets and top‑notch entertainment.

Expect irresistible cheesy tunes, classic disco vibes, bingo‑calling banter and the kind of slow‑dance moments you’ve been secretly longing for. If you crave vol‑au‑vents, guilty‑pleasure hits and a full‑throttle retro party atmosphere—this is the act you’ve been waiting for.

Ballerinas (1pm)

Join prima ballerinas Fifi Pavlova and Dame Margot Fondue as they bring their love of dance to the streets!
These tutu‑clad divas are ready to lead audiences of all ages through the basics of ballet, teaching perfect demi‑pliés, pirouettes and first positions with tutus and a barre provided for those brave enough to take part.

Prepare to be swept away by their dramatic and heartfelt interpretations of beloved ballet classics, from The Nutcracker and Swan Lake to the Macarena. Expect elegance, comedy and unexpected choreography in a performance that promises to make you laugh.

UV Puppet Show & Workshop

Fifth Floor Blackpool Tower: 11am, 1pm & 3pm (One-hour sessions)
Free – BOOK TICKETS (Sold out)

If you're looking for something a bit different this half-term, head up to the Fifth Floor for The Creature from the Blackpool Lagoon. This is a "Black Light" UV puppet show that uses neon effects to bring its characters to life, making it a great visual experience for all ages.
The show is known for being fast-paced and light-hearted. While children enjoy the bright colours and music, there is plenty of humour and local references tucked in for the adults, too.

It also comes with a bit of a pedigree. The show won CBBC’s The Slammer and actually holds the record for the highest-scoring act in the series' history. Each one-hour slot includes both the performance and a hands-on workshop, giving you a chance to see how the UV magic works.

Comedy Waiters

Abingdon Street Market - 12pm, 2.30pm & 4pm (30 min performances)

A hilarious half‑term treat for the whole family!

Prepare for a dining‑themed delight as our mischievous performers blend silent comedy with graceful slapstick. What begins as a charming display of plate‑flipping flair and sculpted‑napkin finesse soon reveals a surprise twist—because with a flick of their bow ties, these seemingly ordinary waiters transform into undercover comedians.

Set to a soundtrack of all‑time classics, they deliver a laugh‑out‑loud celebration of old‑school variety, channelling the spirit of Morecambe and Wise before bursting into a side‑splitting boyband tribute that children and grown‑ups alike will adore.

The show builds to a spectacular theatrical finale, complete with cascading “rain” from umbrellas and beautifully choreographed moments performed to Singin’ in the Rain - a perfect, feel‑good ending for a magical half‑term outing.

Blackpool Circus School – Houndshill

Houndshill, 11am till 4pm

Blackpool has a world-famous circus heritage and the Blackpool Circus School has been a huge part of that for over 20 years. They are experts at taking traditional skills and making them fun for everyone, regardless of age or ability.

Whether you’ve always wanted to try your hand at juggling or fancy testing your balance on a tightwire, these workshops are a fantastic way to have a go. It’s not just about the tricks, though, it’s a brilliant way for kids (and adults) to build a bit of confidence, get creative and maybe even find a new hobby.

With sessions designed for beginners and seasoned performers alike, the team is led by experienced instructors who mentor the next generation right here in town. Their sessions are always welcoming, high-energy, and, most importantly, a lot of fun!
