This Easter, Blackpool is boasting a cracking selection of shows and visitor attractions, complemented by great and affordable accommodation, and a variety of independent cafes, bars and restaurants.

Experience Odyssey in action
The six-mile display might be switched off until September, but you can still get your Blackpool Illuminations fix this half-term as we re-light Odyssey, the largest 3D installation in the display.
Located on the Tower Festival Headland (opposite The Blackpool Tower), the installation, which stands at almost 10 metres high, comprises six large-scale structures that are combined with state-of-the-art technology to create an immersive and interactive projection show themed on creatures from the deep sea.

Enjoy a belly laugh at The Blackpool Tower Circus
Join Mooky and Mr Boo as they deliver their slapstick antics in a brand new show for the 2023 season. Produced and directed by the Endresz family at one of the most iconic circus venues in the world, the show promises visitors a host of all-new jaw-dropping performances and never-before-seen acts in the newly-restored Blackpool Tower Circus.

It's all ears at Peter Rabbit: Explore and Play
Move over Easter Bunny, there’s a new rabbit in town! Hop into the oversized world of adventure at Peter Rabbit: Explore and Play and explore the five fluffy-tailed zones – from Mr McGregor’s Garden to Mr Bouncer’s Invention Workshop.
The little ones can also enjoy an EGGstra-special experience from 1 - 16 April with their very own Easter activity. Find the matching Easter Eggs, spot the hidden ducklings and discover where the rabbit hole leads to for your chance to crack the Easter activity and receive an Easter treat! Go Late Night Riding at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
It's the start of the Late Night Riding events at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. On the 8 April, ride into the night on the Big One, experience thrill rides in the dark and enjoy the twists and turns on Infusion.
If big thrills aren’t for you, check out the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land, featuring 12 amazing rides and a whole host of Nickelodeon characters from the world’s number one kids’ entertainment channel.
Don't forget, technical rehearsals for Valhalla start in April (date to be confirmed). The Viking-inspired water ride has undergone a £4m revamp and is the only ride of its kind in the world.

Dive into the deep and meet Peppa Pig at SEA LIFE Blackpool
In an exciting nationwide event, Peppa Pig is heading to SEA LIFE Blackpool for an amazing Aquarium Adventure! There’s a fun interactive trail at SEA LIFE Blackpool where little piggies can help to spot seahorses, count starfish, learn about how fast sharks can swim, as well as a variety of fun activities.

Meet your furry friends at Blackpool Zoo
Visitors can take advantage of the Easter holidays to catch up with their favourite animals, including the fully integrated herd of Asian elephants, the four members of the red panda family, Western Lowland gorillas, the orang-utans, the giraffes, the sea lions and many more at Blackpool Zoo.
The newly-renovated Lemur Wood will once again open its doors, as will the World of Wings and Rainbow Landings and a selection of talks and feeds are back on the agenda.

See Blackpool's dazzling Mirror Ball
Blackpool’s iconic Mirror Ball – reputed to be the largest in the world – is now shining bright at night! Using 75% less power than before, six new projectors have been installed, allowing spectators to see the twinkling landmark lit up at night in a colour-changing light show extravaganza.
The revolving artwork, featuring 47,000 mirrors, is a permanent fixture on the resort's South Promenade.

Voted England's best park for three years on the bounce, head to Stanley Park for their Spring Fair from 10:30am - 2:00pm on Saturday 8 - Sunday 9 April.

Try your luck at Blackpool Amusements
Head to Blackpool’s latest family entertainment centre. The amusement, split over two floors, is situated in the former Woolworth’s building – just a hop and skip away from The Blackpool Tower. Take your pick from some of the latest games, VR roller coasters and motorbikes, grabber machines and ticket prize games.
With colourful Instagrammable decor, an impressive prize shop and a spacious café on the second floor overlooking the promenade, it’s a fun place to spend a few hours in the heart of the town centre.

Calling all Lego fans! A celebration of all things Lego is taking place on Saturday 8 April at the Olympia Exhibition Hall, Winter Gardens.
