Rebellion Festival Run-Up Show

The world’s largest independent punk and alternative music festival kicks off next week here in Blackpool and we’re giving you the chance to win two tickets to the Rebellion Run Up Show on Wednesday 5 August at the Winter Gardens.

The original Rude Boy and 2-Tone legend, Neville Staple From The Specials, will perform ska classics from his 45+ years in music including hits from The Specials, Fun Boy Three, Special Beat and more. He’ll be joined by Arthur Kay & The Originals and Death of Guitar Pop.

Terms and Conditions: 

  • The prize draw is open to applicants aged 18 years or over, who have a household address with a United Kingdom postcode

  • Elected members, chief officers of Blackpool Council (“the Council”) and VisitBlackpool staff are exempt from this draw

  • The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary

  • Facebook does not endorse, sponsor, administer or otherwise have any involvement in this competition

  • The opening date for entries is 19:00 on Tuesday 28 July 2026. The closing date of the prize draw is 15:00 on Friday 31 July 2026. Entries received after this date will not be counted.

  • Winners will be selected by random draw on Friday 31 July at 16:00. Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email using the details provided at entry. Prizes must be claimed by Sunday 2 August.

  • The winner will receive: two tickets to Rebellion Festival’s Run-Up Show on Wednesday 5 August.

  • The winner may be required to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this competition. By entering this competition, you hereby assign VisitBlackpool, part of Blackpool Council, the complete copyright and all other intellectual property rights whatsoever in any promotional and advertising material and similar which arises out of or is in connection with this prize draw

  • The Prize is non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for an alternative prize, including cash. Transport to and from Blackpool is not included.

  • Tickets will be allocated as above and cannot be altered.

  • Details of how you redeem your tickets will be confirmed when we notify you of your allocation. Lost/stolen/damaged tickets will not be replaced.

  • VisitBlackpool reserves the right to:

    • a. Amend these terms and conditions

    • b. Disqualify any entrant who breaches the rules, including but not limited to being ineligible to enter, or has acted fraudulently in any way and

    • c. Cancel the competition, at any stage, if in the opinion of VisitBlackpool it is deemed necessary or if circumstances arise outside its control

  • The decision of VisitBlackpool regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it

  • Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when submitting application online

  • VisitBlackpool must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Council will send the surname of prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails [website@visitblackpool.com or writes to VisitBlackpool, Showtown Tourism Week Competition, Number One Bickerstaffe, Talbot Road, Blackpool, FY1 3AH (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated. If you object to any or all of your surname, and winning entry being published or made available, please contact VisitBlackpool on 01253 478222 or email website@visitblackpool.com. In such circumstances, VisitBlackpool must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request

  • Insofar as is permitted by law, VisitBlackpool or its distributors, will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of VisitBlackpool or its distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected

  • Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in VisitBlackpool’s PRIVACY POLICY.

  • These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom



2026 Blackpool Destination Guide Competition

In our all new Blackpool Destination Guide, we are offering you the chance to win four Blackpool Tourism Annual Passes, giving you and your family or friends unlimited entry to seven incredible attractions for a whole year.

Experience a bird’s eye view of Blackpool from the top of the Tower, brave the Dungeon, quickstep into the Tower Ballroom, make memories at Showtown, rub shoulders with the stars at Madame Tussauds, roll up to the Circus, and make a splash at Sandcastle Waterpark.

    • The Blackpool Tower Dungeon
    • Madame Tussauds (Blackpool)
    • Sandcastle Waterpark
    • Showtown
  • Not valid in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount. 
  • Strictly non-transferable or cash transferable.
  • You must not sell, auction or transfer any element Blackpool Tourism Annual Pass.
  • ID verification may be required on arrival.
  • No cash refunds including any unused elements of the Blackpool Tourism Annual Pass.
  • Lost or misplaced passes cannot be replaced or refunded. 
  • Misuse of the Blackpool Tourism Annual Pass will result in withdrawal and may lead to prosecution. 
  • Valid for unlimited visits to each of the participating attractions. Subject to availability (Please note some dates may be excluded during peak periods).
  • Pre-book required at all attractions.
