Hidden Gems Christmas Shopping

Browse Lucky Finds in Blackpool’s Hidden Gems!

Christmas is coming, and with that comes lots of shopping to prepare for the most wonderful time of the year.

Do you tend to buy the same pack of socks for dad or the same hand lotion for Auntie Beryl? If you do your Christmas shopping in Blackpool, there are a whole host of hidden gems that provide unique and meaningful gifts for everyone in the family, as well as offering handmade and quirky decorations to make your home a cosy and twinkling grotto during the festive season.

It’s more important than ever to support independent shops in this current climate. Did you know that if shoppers spent £5 extra per week with small businesses, it would help many to stay open in the long-term? There are dozens of special stores to purchase presents throughout Blackpool, but here are some of our favourites. Make sure you show them some love when you’re next in town.

Blott Artist Studio

Christmas is on its way, and at Blott Studio, there is fantastic creativity on display! Much of it has been created here in the North, by well known/established local artists and creative artisans.  An amazing array of art and crafts, vintage Blackpool china and ceramic mugs, and jewellery, there will be an opportunity to buy some unique products and meet many of the artists. National artists are also represented, such as London-based Stewy and award winning Sarah Maple.

For Christmas, they offer mouth-watering selection boxes or sharer boxes so you can pick ‘n mix to your heart’s desire, from Oreo Red Velvet to Biscoff blondie - we’re hungry already!

Charabanc celebrates local spirit and graft, from brightly-coloured Blackpool cushion covers to rings made from board game pieces – gifts to suit all pockets. Supporting local designers, the shop sells pretty and distinctive jewellery, clothing and homewares.
