Hands up who has been given a pair of socks, a silly plastic gadget or some random bath products for Christmas? *The whole nation holds up their hands*
It’s easy to go with the safe option when you’re in a rush to buy a Christmas present or you don’t have the time to really think long and hard about what your loved one might like to unwrap this year. However, a thoughtful present always scores some originality points on the big day.
This year, the pandemic has taught us many things but, most importantly, it’s taught us to appreciate the people around us. So why not bring some extra seaside sparkle to your Christmas presents this year? We’ve rounded up a sleigh-load of Blackpool-inspired Christmas gifts to treat your loved one and spruce up your Christmas checklist. We are championing local businesses, so all of what you see in this Gift Guide will not only bring a smile to the recipient’s face, but you’ll also kindly support the places who need it most.
Play your part to help the entertainment industry
It’s been a challenging year for our renowned entertainment venues across Blackpool. In a normal year, venues such as the Grand Theatre, Winter Gardens, VIVA Blackpool and Funny Girls would be delighting hundreds of thousands of show-goers with an inviting mix of musicals, cabaret shows, live music performances and feel-good pantomimes. They might be taking an unforeseen interval right now, but it’s hopeful that next year will see filled seats and raised curtains as shows make a triumphant return.
To make this happen, why not book a show for 2021? Surprise your loved ones to a sensational performance of Dirty Dancing at the Grand Theatre next summer, kick off your Sunday shoes to Footloose in the Winter Gardens or treat yourself to a high-octane cabaret show at VIVA Blackpool or Funny Girls. Whether you’re looking for a girly catch up, a romantic date night or a family day out, there’s plenty lined up at all our amazing entertainment venues.
See what’s on at Winter Gardens Blackpool, Blackpool Grand Theatre, VIVA Blackpool and Funny Girls.

With every order, you will receive a commemorative certificate to authenticate your brick to display at home. This unique gift idea will last beyond Christmas.
