Coach Parking Update:
Operators are recommended to exit Seasiders Way at the Bloomfield Road junction, as shown on the maps attached, and proceed on to Central Drive. The coach station will only be accessible from Central Drive and after turning within the coach station area, vehicles will also leave on to Central Drive. Vehicles will have a choice exiting left or right on to Central Drive, depending which is most convenient.
Many of Blackpool’s exciting attractions have their own coach parking facilities available to those bringing visitors to each venue. However, for those town centre attractions that have restricted space and cannot offer such facilities there are bays for dropping off and picking up (15 minute wait time) at the Central Coach Station facility in Central Car Park . This was designed following feedback from coach operators who needed easier access for drivers dropping off and collecting visitors in the town centre. Overnight coach parking is available on Foxhall Village car and coach park on Seasiders Way near to Chapel Street.
Blackpool has also designated a NEW set-down point, ideally placed for dropping off groups who are heading for the Grand Theatre and The Blackpool Tower or Viva cabaret venue. Coaches will now be able to pull over on the south-bound section of Promenade in the area between Harry Ramsdens and Blackpool Amusements. Operators will be permitted to drop off and pick up groups of passengers at this location. Coach drivers should not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to picking up passengers.
