Great Connectivity

With its beautiful coastal setting, Blackpool is worlds apart from a stark urban environment, but it’s perfectly connected.

An excellent network of efficient, cost-effective transport links means the resort is easily accessible by road and rail.

We have excellent working relationships with transport partners and approved providers so can help support any large-scale delegate requirements planned in advance.

Blackpool has brilliant connections to the national rail network.

There are now direct services into the town from London, Birmingham, Manchester (including Manchester International Airport), Liverpool, York and other major destinations following the completion of the electrification of the Blackpool to Preston rail line.

New direct London-Blackpool train services from Euston have cut journey times and mean you can leave the capital and be in the resort in less than three hours, travelling by super-fast, super-comfortable trains. With more services lined up in 2020 and the arrival of new electric trains on regional services, there has never been a better time to travel to Blackpool by rail. For more information, click here.

Blackpool has excellent motorway links and is easily accessible by car.

The M6 runs directly from the M1 and links Blackpool, via the M55, to the main motorway network.

Simply take Junction 32 off the M6 and follow the M55 right into the heart of the town centre. There is ample car parking, much of it within walking distance of key venues including the Winter Gardens.

If you are planning a group visit to Blackpool, then travelling by coach is a comfortable, convenient and cost-effective way to get here.
National Express and other scheduled operators offer all-year round services to and from the resort, arriving and departing at the Blackpool Central Coach Station.

By air

Working with the airport, Hangar 3 can offer visiting aircraft support services normally reserved for much bigger airfields and at far lower prices. This makes it a credible alternative for small planes to the bustle of local rivals Manchester and Liverpool.

With seven-day operation and 24-hour services, the team can provide VIP chauffeur services as well as shuttle transfers to local hotels and meeting rooms.

The airport can also offer bespoke, private flight services with a fleet of more than 600 aircraft available ranging in size from a four-seater to a 20-seater.

For general aviation, Blackpool Airport offers aircraft parking, refuelling and a new lounge and flight briefing facility. For more details click here.

By sea

For delegates coming from across the sea, Blackpool is within easy reach of several ferry ports covering crossings from Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Netherlands.
