Blackpool is home to some of the UK’s most popular tourist attractions that are sure to excite and inspire delegates and guests alike. Blackpool and its neighbours along the Fylde Coast are awash with stunning landmarks, unique opportunities and exciting days out.
Culture and the Arts
Blackpool boasts an impressive line-up of entertainment to rival the West End, in architectural venues with a history and heritage all of their own. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful Grand Theatre designed by Frank Matcham or the impressive Opera House, which is one of the largest theatres in the UK.
The Grundy Art Gallery is a stunning Grade II listed gallery situated in the centre of Blackpool. Its beautiful Edwardian architecture hosts an extensive programme of exhibitions, including historical and contemporary art as well as featuring established and emerging artists from the UK and abroad.
Golf and Spa
Take some time out to relax and unwind, whether you’re in need of the ultimate in relaxation and pampering, or a quick indulgence with a treatment or two, we can guarantee a venue to suit your needs.
Many delegates and partners find a round of golf the perfect way to unwind and along the Fylde Coast we have courses galore to choose from and with three Royal courses in easy reach.
Food and Drink
Blackpool has a range of restaurants to suit all tastes, including award-winning venues serving local specialities such as Goosnargh duck, Morecambe Bay shrimps and of course, fresh fish from the nearby port of Fleetwood.
If you’re looking for something more informal, then why not try some High Street favourites such as Pizza Express, Las Iguanas or Portuguese restaurant, Nando’s. With all these located at the heart of the resort and on the doorstep of the Winter Gardens, they make the perfect choice for an informal lunch or relaxed dinner. There are many cafes and bistros dotted around the resort, perfect if you’re looking for a freshly ground cappuccino or a light lunch.
Shopping
From the Houndshill Shopping Centre with its high street names and department store, to the small boutique stores offering limited-edition fashion and jewellery, you won’t be stuck for retail therapy.
For food lovers, it’s well worth visiting the local markets selling meat and cheese from nearby farms, organic fruit and vegetables and freshly caught fish straight from Fleetwood. Don’t forget to call into the VisitBlackpool Tourist Information Centre to pick up some unique Blackpool souvenirs to take home.
