Kenny Mew, general manager at The Blackpool Tower, said: “This Christmas we want to make it extra special for deserving care homes in Blackpool and the surrounding area. “For some of the residents in our care homes, they may have wonderful memories of The Blackpool Tower but are no longer able to visit – we want to take the festivities of the tower and in particular the Ballroom out to these people so they do not miss out and still enjoy lots of festive fun and cheer this year. “In our 125th birthday year we feel it is particularly important to celebrate the people who have helped to make The Blackpool Tower what it is today. It’s thanks to these people that we’re still here all these years on.” For more information about The Blackpool Tower, visit www.theblackpooltower.com.
