Blackpool Ice Drome Charities Association (BIDCA) Announces Magical Christmas Ice Show: “Snow White: A Fairytale Adventure on Ice”
Blackpool Ice Drome Charities Association (BIDCA) is thrilled to announce their enchanting Christmas ice show, "Snow White – A Fairytale Adventure on Ice," set to dazzle audiences at the Blackpool Ice Arena, Pleasure Beach this December. The show, which will run from Saturday 7th December 2024 to Thursday 26th December 2024, promises a spellbinding experience filled with spectacular skating, modern music, and a traditional fairytale adventure.
This year’s production features a cast of 59 talented local children, all of whom have trained tirelessly under the guidance of Blackpool Arena coaches to bring this beloved fairytale to life on the ice. With intricate choreography, a vibrant soundtrack, and thrilling skating performances, “Snow White” is set to be a highlight of the Christmas season.
“We are incredibly excited to present this fariytale adventure on ice,” says Kerry Ashton, Director and Chairperson of BIDCA. “Our show not only showcases the immense talent of our local young skaters but also continues our long-standing tradition of creating memorable Christmas experiences for the community. Each December, we strive to bring joy and inspiration through our performances, and this year’s production of ‘Snow White’ is no exception. It is sure to captivate audiences of all ages.”
Since the first show in 1939, BIDCA has been dedicated to raising funds for disadvantaged children across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast through the staging of spectacular ice shows, with proceeds raised being donated to local children’s charities. The Charity’s commitment to supporting and nurturing young talent, while contributing to the community has made it a cherished part of Blackpool’s cultural landscape.
