On Saturday 6 June, the annual Pride parade will get underway at 11am from Central Pier with the colourful procession making its way along the promenade to North Pier.
During the afternoon, there will be five hours of non-stop entertainment in the arena with sets from Radio 2’s Richie Anderson, Ben from Phats & Small, Vinegar Strokes, Rob King, Jacquii Cann, Pure Paloma, San Junipero, A Grande Experience, Johnny Wright, Channy, Big Guys Don’t Cry, Michael T Ogilvie and Billy Walker.
On Saturday night, Jake Shears, the charismatic lead singer of the Scissor Sisters, will take to the Blackpool stage for an exclusive performance, supported by Lee Ryan and Jenny Ball.
On Sunday 7 June, an all-day candlelit vigil will be held at the Flying Handbag venue, which has just reopened after a £500k refurbishment.
