Bakery offers free pie or pasty for match goers

Poundbakery’s Church Street store has pledged its support to the Seasiders and will be offering free pies and pasties to match-goers when the side come up against Yeovil on Saturday.

Supporters are invited to visit the store and present their match-day tickets, valid for that day’s game, or a season ticket in exchange for any pie or pasty from the full Poundbakery menu.

The offer will also cover Ferguson’s side’s upcoming championship clashes with Derby, Burnley and Charlton

Fans can make their choice from classics, like the comforting Meat and Potato Pie and no fuss Steak Slice, or brand new favourites like the hot and spicy Chilli Beef Pasty.

All Poundbakery’s pies and pasties are crafted to their own unique recipes and baked in store throughout the day to guarantee great taste and freshness.

The Blackpool Church Street store is one of 65 Poundbakery and Poundcafe outlets across the UK, offering tasty products at tasty prices.  The store opened in March and reported sales of 1,300 Meat and Potato Pies, 1,500 Sausage Rolls and 500 Strawberry Tarts to 7,000 customers in its first week of trading.

The free pie or pasty offer applies to match-days tickets and season ticket holders, and is running on home game match days until the end of the season. Tickets must be valid for that day’s game.
