IMAX premiere of Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning

The Backlot Cinema in Blackpool is proud to announce that it will be the only venue in Lancashire to show the final of the “Mission Impossible” franchise in IMAX.

Filmed for IMAX to deliver the ultimate big-screen experience,  “Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning”, will premiere on the 15th of May 2025, at 8.30 pm and will be screened at The Backlot Cinema & Diner ahead of the national premiere on the 21st of May 2025.

This exclusive screening marks a major cinematic event for Lancashire and The Backlot, giving the audience a rare opportunity to experience the final instalment of the beloved franchise before anyone else. Witness Christopher McQuarrie’s directory work and Tom Cruise’s legendary stunts as Ethan Hunt, come to life in this one-of-a-kind experience.
