Halloween at SEA LIFE Blackpool 22 September 2026 by Visit Blackpool Families are invited to enjoy a Halloween adventure beneath the waves this autumn as Ascarium: Tricks & Treats returns to participating SEA LIFE attractions across the UK. Included with general admission, the event invites young explorers to complete a themed activity trail through the aquarium, tackle spooky challenges and learn more about the ocean and its incredible inhabitants along the way. Guests will discover everything from jellyfish, rays and turtles to sharks and other marine species, while special Halloween-themed characters, including Serafina the Sea Witch and a resident Warlock, will appear on selected dates during weekends and October half term. Designed primarily for families with children aged 10 and under, Ascarium: Tricks & Treats combines seasonal fun with educational experiences that encourage visitors to discover and care for the ocean world. Alongside the daytime event, SEA LIFE Blackpool and SEA LIFE Manchester will also host special after-dark Halloween experiences for older children and families seeking an extra thrill. Ascarium: After Dark - SEA LIFE Blackpool Taking place on 24-25 and 30-31 October, Ascarium: After Dark transforms SEA LIFE Blackpool after hours with live actors and unexpected encounters throughout the attraction. Visitors will journey through the aquarium's exhibits as they come face-to-fin with sharks, piranhas, eels and other marine creatures, with a series of Halloween surprises waiting throughout the experience.
