Fatboy Slim, best known for hits Praise You, Right Here, Right Now and The Rockafeller Skank will perform as special guest at Blackpool Rocks, turning the Winter Gardens Blackpool into a unique club experience.
Blackpool’s own Danny Howard has spent the last nine years selecting his way to become the tastemaker of his generation. Between hosting his influential Friday night show on BBC Radio 1 and heading up his own record label, Nothing Else Matters, his implicit connection with club culture has catapulted him to sell-out shows across the UK, Ibiza, Europe, Australia and the USA. With productions released on some of the most respected labels in the world, Danny has carved out a unique role for himself within the industry and as a product of the UK dance scene himself, shining a spotlight on what he champions as the original home of rave.
British DJ and house music producer Hot Since 82 will join the line-up, having toured extensively across five continents, becoming a staple in the international club and festival scene, as proven by sold-out tours across North and South America, Australia and the UK.
Award-winning British-Japanese queen of the electronic underground Maya Jane Coles has proven herself internationally as an artist, producer, songwriter and DJ of note, amassing a staggering 3.2 million followers on Soundcloud.
Having graduated from a key figure of London’s underground LGBTQ+ club scene to a DJ, producer, and live artist in the spotlight of international electronic music, ABSOLUTE will also take over the decks.
And it will be Jaguar who kicks off the party. Representing the next wave of emerging talent, Jaguar recently announced her own show on BBC Radio 1 show: BBC introducing dance. If there’s one comment she makes that resonates the most: “Being with humans dancing to great music is the best.”
Blackpool Rocks founder Alex Huckerby - “2021 feels like the perfect year to bring Blackpool Rocks back to the Winter Gardens, after everyone spent such a long time indoors with no live music, dancing or DJs, this will be the best way to celebrate freedom with amazing headline acts.
We can’t wait to welcome you all back to Blackpool this summer for the first big party of the year!”
Tickets priced from £35 will go on sale at 9am on Friday 23rd April 2021 from www.bplrocks.com
