Blackpool FC Reveal Anniversary Shirt

The unique shirt has been created to mark one of the most significant milestones in the club’s history, bringing together elements from across 125 years of memories at Bloomfield Road and incorporating them into a design that celebrates the stadium, the club and the supporters who have called it home.

The anniversary shirt will be available to purchase from Saturday 29th August, both online and from the Blackpool FC Club Shop.

Designed to be different from the kits supporters have seen in recent seasons, the shirt takes inspiration directly from Bloomfield Road and Blackpool FC’s history. Its design incorporates details from the stadium, the year Bloomfield Road became the club’s permanent home, and elements inspired by historic Blackpool FC crests.

Every detail has been chosen to tell part of the story of a football club that has spent 125 years creating memories at the same home.

With just 1,901 anniversary shirts available, the limited edition design pays tribute to the year in which Bloomfield Road became Blackpool FC’s permanent home.

From generations of supporters watching their first game, to iconic goals, legendary players and unforgettable occasions, Bloomfield Road has been at the heart of Blackpool FC for 125 years.

The anniversary shirt is a celebration of all of those memories, while creating a new piece of club history for supporters to own.

“Bloomfield Road is more than just a football stadium. It has been our home for 125 years and is a huge part of what makes Blackpool FC what it is today.

"We wanted to create something that felt genuinely different and that reflected the history of our home. There are lots of details within the design that supporters will recognise, from elements of the stadium itself to references to our historic crests and the year 1901.

“With only 1,901 shirts being produced, this is a really special piece of Blackpool FC history. We hope supporters will wear it with pride, whether that’s inside Bloomfield Road, around the town or wherever they are supporting the Seasiders.”

The shirt will also feature Fylde Coast Homes on the front, with the partnership seeing the brand represented both within Bloomfield Road and across the special anniversary shirt.

The 125 Years of Bloomfield Road Anniversary Shirt will be available from Saturday 29th August, online and in store at the Blackpool FC Club Shop.
