Black Thursday Beats Black Friday

Freeport Fleetwood has upped the ante for Christmas shoppers and is starting the famous Black Friday sales one day early on Thursday 27 November.

For the first time ever, the outlet shopping centre is beating the Christmas rush with an exclusive VIP shopping event at which 38 of its stores will be offering massive discounts of up to 40% off outlet price

Some of the offers available are:

• Gap – 20% off outlet store price
• Jeff Banks – 50% off RRP
• Skopes – 50% off RRP
• Moss – suit clearance with suits from £49.99
• Antler – 20% off
• Roman – 20% off
• M&S Outlet – 10% off the outlet store price

Each store taking part in the event will have red carpet and ropes leading up to their doors, so shoppers can immediately see where to find the best deals.

All that shopping will be thirsty work so customers will find 25% off at Costa Coffee the perfect refresher. There will also be free mulled wine and roasted chestnuts handed out to shoppers (whilst stocks last) to keep off the winter chill.

Black Friday is traditionally the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, often regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. It has been tradition for American stores to offer amazing deals on the season’s ‘must have’ toys, electronics and consumer items.  In recent years Black Friday has been taken up by shops in the UK; the day is often characterised by large numbers of people descending on shops in order to make Christmas that little bit easier on the pocket.
