Beyonce and Lady Gaga select Blackpool for next residency
Global megastars Beyonce and Lady Gaga have swapped Las Vegas for The Blackpool Promenade, after new wax figures of the award-winning singers have been unveiled at Madame Tussauds Blackpool.
The two iconic stars have been immortalised in wax after they topped all polls in a survey for most wanted figures at Madame Tussauds Blackpool.
Queen Bey’s glamorous new figure launches as her Renaissance album makes chart history after it racked up a staggering 52 weeks at No.1 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.The internationally renowned singer’s new lifelike figure sports a metallic black bodysuit with matching gloves, voluminous curls and silver eye liner, and is a tribute to the Grammy award-winner's memorable Renaissance album launch party look.
Lady Gaga’s wax figure launch comes amid the star hinting that new music may be on its way, after teasing her 56 million Instagram fans with an image of herself in the studio. The pop icon, actress and fashion icon’s figure oozes Hollywood glamour in a sparkly dress complete with a thigh-high split revealing white platform lace-up boots - a nod to the star’s boundary-pushing style.
Beyonce and Lady Gaga join a plethora of A-listers from stage and screen in Madame Tussauds Blackpool’s Awards Party zone.

Featuring more than 80 famous faces, Madame Tussauds Blackpool gives visitors the chance to get up close with their heroes, from sporting stars to TV favourites, movie icons, singing sensations and everything in between.
It takes a team of 25 artists to work on one wax figure, spending a total of 800 hours collectively. This includes: 350 hours to sculpt the figure, 187 hours to insert a head of hair and 30 hours to make a set of teeth.
