A Fresh New Look for Beach House Blackpool in 2026

Beach House Bar and Restaurant is spreading its wings and taking a short seasonal pause this month before returning just in time for Valentine’s Day with a beautifully refreshed look. What’s not to love?
Blackpool’s favourite beachfront restaurant and bar will close its doors on Sunday 11 January and reopen on Thursday 12 February to allow time for a month-long refurbishment that will include a complete reimagining of the much-loved ‘Starling’ area, alongside an exciting New Year refresh across the entire vibrant venue.
The Starling area is a standout feature of Beach House’s stunning restaurant seascape, offering uninterrupted views of the Irish Sea and a front-row seat to one of nature’s most magical performances. As the sun sets, thousands of roosting Starlings swoop, dive and dance across the sky in breathtaking formations known as a murmuration, named after the soft, murmuring sound of their wings in flight.
Inspired by this natural spectacle, owners Hagop and Cheryl Tchobanian previously commissioned local artists at South Shore Metal Blackpool, to create a striking sculptural installation that captures each bird mid-flight as they twist and turn like a living cloud. The upcoming transformation will elevate this space even further, ensuring the Starling area continues to feel immersive, atmospheric and utterly unique. Hagop and Cheryl said: “This latest renovation for Beach House is just another step in our ongoing commitment to offer something truly special to our customers - from our exclusive food and drink choices to the way our space truly connects with the natural beauty of our surroundings.
“We work very closely with a team of local contractors, including South Shore Metal, and local architect Joseph Boniface, to keep things fresh and interesting and always with a mind to our incredible location and the passion we have for what we do. This latest refurbishment will bring even more lightness to our wonderful space and even softer touches with luxury fabrics and sumptuous seating to enhance every corner of the customer experience.”
Feel-good food is also always on the menu at Beach House, with the sizzling winter dishes still available from the February reopening due to popular demand. There will still be time to tuck into mouthwatering Mediterranean inspired plates such as whole wild Lobster, aromatic Armenian Lamb Losh Kebabs, freshly Woodfired Pizzas handcrafted to order or a succulent Tomahawk steak. And don’t forget the decadent home-made desserts, cool cocktails and much more, all waiting to dazzle your tastebuds. Delicious.
It’s the perfect place for date night this Valentine’s Day too. Turn up the heat and enjoy an extra special sharing menu with a spicy Mediterranean twist as the bubbles chill on ice and the sun sets over the sea… More details to be revealed soon…
Love to take your doggies out with you? The new refurb will still be dog friendly – perfect for popping in with your pooch for piping hot coffee and tasty snacks or even a lazy weekend breakfast after roaming the glorious Blackpool sands. Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the bar area and on the terrace, with the conservatory still reserved for diners who prefer to relax without furry companions.
But what else is new for Beach House in 2026? “This last year in particular we have enjoyed exclusive collaborations for the very first time with iconic brands such as Aperol and Campari,” say Hagop and Cheryl. “We unveiled Tower Vista - our newly named elevated outdoor terrace, which offers panoramic views of the beach and Promenade and the world-famous Blackpool Tower and which will also be getting an exciting new makeover. And we also have even more thrilling new plans to be revealed in 2026… so watch this space to see what comes next!”
Want to get even more involved in this vibrant restaurant and bar? Beach House is always on the lookout for friendly and fabulous people to join the family. Cheryl says: “During our closed period, our hardworking team will also be enjoying a well-deserved break with some taking advantage of the much-needed time off after the busy Christmas period, while others will return to their university studies and will be welcomed back again with open arms throughout the year. We are always keen to welcome new members so please email enquiries@beachhouseblackpool.co.uk for more info if you are interested. We can’t wait to meet you!”
