This artwork was created to celebrate the launch of the critically-acclaimed film The White Tiger, which is based on the New York Times bestseller and 2008 Man Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name.
This unique project not only highlights the themes present in the film but also champions diverse artistic expressions.
Netflix partnered with the internationally-renowned artist, Chila Kumari Singh Burman, to explore the concepts of ambition, class, society and entrepreneurship from the film. Creating this visually stunning interpretation of the ‘White Tiger Driver’ car; an unremarkable car that became the blank canvases for Chila to put her own distinct style on an otherwise ordinary looking car.
The incredible Chila Burman created a collage base, layered with her signature vibrant neons on top, complete with a neon tiger striding the roof of the car.
This vehicle transformation beautifully illustrates the magic of art, showing how creativity can revitalize the everyday and celebrate the fusion of cinema and culture, inviting everyone to engage with art in a fresh, exciting way
Chila Kumari-Burman Singh MBE
