A playful, humorous installation inspired by Blackpool’s famed seagulls, blending humour, scale, and surprise, to explore climate change, habitat loss, and humanity’s relationship with wildlife.
Through wit and wonder, “What the Gull?!” invites you to rethink our connection with nature, celebrate herring gulls as Blackpool’s feathered ambassadors, and reflect on their important role as indicators of ocean health.
A light-hearted yet meaningful experience, this installation proves that even the most familiar creatures have extraordinary stories to tell. Come for the laughs, stay for the insight—because when it comes to seagulls, there’s always more than meets the eye!
