The Spitfire Visitor Centre opens its doors to the public on the first weekend of every month (Mar-Nov).
Located in an original WW2 RAF Hangar, the Spitfire Visitor Centre transports you back to the dark days of World War Two, bringing back to life the realities of fighting in the air and supporting the aircrews on the ground.
The displays include Spitfire and Hurricane aircraft and a wide range of WW2 RAF Military vehicles, weapons and equipment.
There is an opportunity for those over 8 years of age to sit in the cockpit of a Spitfire (+£5) and also to try your hand at some pilot combat video games and some 3D visual experiences.
A suggested visit of two hours will give the whole family a realistic view of WW2 and will provide a fantastic learning opportunity for young and old alike.
Free car parking is available on site, as well as disabled access and hot and cold drinks on site. NO PETS allowed.
Please endeavour to pre-book your tickets in advance, via the ticketsource.co.uk website. Please visit our website and socials for updates on opening days and hours
