Local community-led creative organisation, The Old Electric have created a pop-up shadow puppetry theatre where you are the puppeteers and storytellers.
Inspired by the ancient art of light and shadow storytelling, a range of beautiful shadow puppets, backgrounds, soundscapes and textures will be available to animate using simple technology.
You’ll be encouraged to play and create before capturing your very own piece of Lightpool light art on film.
Exploring themes relating to the seaside, our creatives will be on hand to support you in getting hands-on experience of a range of shadow-making storytelling techniques which might include exploring shapes and movement that you can make with your body too.
