Blackpool's oldest Pier - the North Pier opened in 1863 and still retains it's Victorian charm. At the front of the Pier is a large arcade featuring the latest and greatest video, prize and gaming machines. Right next door the arcade is the Legendary Merrie England bar featuring in his 24th season the one and only Mr. Blackpool himself Joey Blower.
Whether it's a stag or hen do, birthday, holiday or just a day out with your friends don't miss the best party in town as Joey and the gang provide a mix of comedy, wind-ups, competitions, live music, top tunes and much more - strictly for an adult audience. Catch Joey every Saturday and Sunday afternoon until November in the Merrie England Showbar. Also in the front of the Merrie England you can see fantastic bands such as The Coustics and Sounds magic along with vocalists Emma Louise, Mikaela, Sara and Joanna along with your host DJ Ian.
At the historic North Pier Theatre there are an array of shows for the summer including The Ultimate Vegas Variety show, The Ragdolls - a tribute to Frankie Valli, The Wizard of Oz panto, The Bootleg Bee Gees, La Voix and Black Magic - the Little Mix show.
There is also live entertainment in the beautiful Sun Lounge and Carousel Bar. The Sun Lounge is also host to the annual Beer and Cider Festival in June, Oktoberfest, Halloweenfest and the Sunset Cinema where you can watch classic movies under the stars.
