Due to the fresh salt air and our close proximity to the Irish Sea, it’s not often Blackpool turns into a snowy winter wonderland. It’s always a magical occurrence when we do see a light dusting though, which is why we’re taking it into our own hands and making it snow at the seaside this winter!
If you are dreaming of a white Christmas, put on your best woolly hat and gloves and head to the Tower Festival Headland for the full alpine experience. From 21 November - 4 January, regular snowfalls will be bursting out of our special cannons throughout the evening.

The magical snowfalls are part of Christmas By The Sea. The Tower Festival Headland will be transformed into a magical festive village, complete with a free skating rink, Christmas chalets, festive fairground rides, and larger-than-life installations. Find out more.
