Exploring the concept of LUCA, the shared common ancestor of all life on Earth, we move through colour, pattern and form, delving into deep time and the connections between all living things.
The projection plays with the power of repetition. Simple biological shapes and DNA patterns copy, stack in bright, shifting colours. This steady, rhythmic repetition mirrors how genetic code has been continuously replicated and passed down over billions of years.
By moving through these repeating forms, the piece serves as a calm, visual reminder that no matter how diverse life has become, everything is built from the exact same repeating code.
