Firefly Field is a dreamy light installation featuring dozens of glowing LED points that hover, dart and float just above the ground, perfectly mimicking the natural, unpredictable movement and bioluminescence of fireflies (Lampyridae). As their ever-changing glow reflects off the grassy slope, these delicate light points create a dynamic atmosphere designed to evoke curiosity and a shared fascination for these tiny winged creatures.
By using a minimalist arrangement of specially developed LEDs, the installation explores how moving light can express a distinct mood, bringing the aesthetic magic of nature into an immersive artistic display.
