Playing home games at Bloomfield Road, the club won the FA Cup in 1953 beating Bolton Wanderers 4-3 in the famous ‘Matthews Final’
The Seasiders also hold the record for the most play-off final victories with 5. By winning promotion to the Premier League in 2010, the club became the first in history to win promotion to all four top-flight divisions via the play-offs.
