Blackpool Pleasure Beach
There’s something for everyone at Britain’s favourite amusement park. From white-knuckle rollercoasters, to spectacular shows and the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land, there are plenty of exciting attractions to make your visit to Blackpool a day to remember.
For the Thrill-seekers: the Rollercoasters
If Blackpool Pleasure Beach is known for one thing, it’s the impressive collection of thrilling rides; from the majestic Big One to much-loved favourites such as the Grand National.
At 65 metres tall, The Big One is Britain’s highest rollercoaster, reaching speeds of up to 85 mph as you hurtle back to Earth after enjoying the spectacular seafront views.
And don’t forget to hold your breath as you ride Infusion, the only rollercoaster in the country that’s suspended completely over water.
If a helping of H20 is your sort of thing, try the spooky Valhalla. This indoor coaster sends you splashing around its dark corridors, where surprises lurk around every corner.
Everyone who’s ever visited the Pleasure Beach has a soft spot for the Grand National, an iconic wooden rollercoaster that’s delighted families for over 70 years. Experience one of Blackpool’s true traditional treats as you soar over Becher’s Brook and speed around the Canal Turn on your way to the winning post.
These are just some of the jaw-dropping rollercoasters to be found at the Pleasure Beach. You’ll have to visit us to find out more.
For the Whole Family: Nickelodeon Land
Experience Nickelodeon Land, a 6-acre area of the Pleasure Beach loaded with 12 rides, a gift shop, game stalls, a restaurant and a whole host of famous Nickelodeon characters.
Give your kids a day they’ll never forget as they enjoy exciting rides themed around their favourite characters, including Spongebob Squarepants, Dora the Explorer and The Rugrats.
For the Theatre Lovers: The Hot Ice Show
By far the most spectacular show on offer at the Pleasure Beach Arena, the Hot Ice Show features world-class performers displaying dazzling routines against a backdrop of stunning special effects.
Tickets start at just £10 for matinee performances.
