The best views of Blackpool's famous promenade and annual illuminations are surely to be found from North Pier's Carousel Bar.
The Carousel bar sits almost a quarter of a mile into the Irish Sea and features uninterrupted views of the hustle and bustle of daily Blackpool life.
Escape for an hour and enjoy a relaxing drink from inside the bar conservatory or outside in our open air Victorian Sun-Lounge. Famous for its afternoon teas, the Carousel bar also serves a wide range of hot and cold snacks, freshly baked baquettes, ice creams and mouth-watering cakes and pastries. At weekends in the Sun Lounge, we present 'Swing in the Afternoon', featuring vocalist Tony Mac re-creating the best from the golden era of Swing.
Every evening, we present live family cabaret entertainment with DJ Charli and nightly full production show presented by the excellent 'Groovy Movie' - in the summer months, dance the night away under the stars as all our cabaret takes place outside in the Victorian Sun-Lounge. Children are always welcome both day and night and a selection of games and competitions is sure to keep even the most lively child happy and entertained.
This year the North Pier's legendary theatre is playing host to a galaxy of stars, including everything from The Bachelors and Vince Hill through the million selling Rockin' On Heaven's Door and the Number One 50s and 60s Show, through to Big Band and Rat Pack magic from Five Star Swing and, for the children, Rainbow Live!

Yorkshire born Billy Pearce emerged from the fertile talent fields of Butlin’s — where he was a red coat — and the fruitfiul training grounds of the northern club circuit to become one of Britain's most talented comedians.
If proof were needed for this positive statement of fact, then the 1994 British comedy awards provided it, with the award of top live theatre variety entertainer — an award won against very high profile opposition. Billy, though, is no stranger to awards.
In his formative comedy years he was voted club mirror’s solo comedian of the year by his fellow professionals, and followed this with best television comedy newcomer at the London Palladium.
