Experts are on hand throughout the Illuminations season, from Friday 3 September to Sunday 7 November, offering a personal insight into everything you ever wanted to know about the Lights.

Blackpool has a series of wonderful heritage tours on offer – taking in her magnificent buildings and entertainment heritage. The Grand Theatre and Blackpool Tower offer guided tours of their historic buildings and also run a host of ghost tours. Heritage buffs can also take advantage of an ever-growing programme of free events on Heritage Open Days weekend on Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 September 2010.

For those with an interest in things that go 'bump in the night' then one of Blackpool's legendary Ghost Tours is a must.
