It’s only fitting that don’t-do-it-by-halves Blackpool should host a whole week of events, from June 19 – 27, to celebrate the British Armed Forces rather than just a day like other parts of the country.
Because during the Second World War Blackpool was the largest troop training area on the planet, and on this week, a series of exhibitions, events and attractions will bring those days vividly back to life.
