Blackpool Illuminations (3 September – 7 November) is the greatest free show on earth and has been part of British culture since 1879.

2009 saw exciting, new editions to the popular Dr Who section, the fantastic ‘localHeads’ display and all the glamour and glitz of the Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen designed Decodance and Venus Reborn features.  Look out for information on the 2010 display coming soon.

The Big Switch On celebration on Friday 3 September 2010 will feature special celebrity guestsand a free concert. Keep checking this website for more announcements and why not stay for the weekend for a whole host of concerts and events?
