Whether you love a classical concert, are a pop prince or princess, or love to rock out, Blackpool has plenty to offer in terms of live music.

The annual Illuminations weekend offers a great chance to see your favourite acts for free. Last year saw a star-studded line up for Switch On Weekend including JLS, Pixie Lott, Mika, Daniel Merriweather, Madness and many more! This year’s event takes place on the weekend of September 3 – keep checking back for details of acts and the Switch On Star!

A whole series of FREE concerts run at Stanley Park bandstand from June to September; from classical to jazz and musicals to modern favourites performed by the very best local talent.

Snap up tickets early for concerts in the Winter Gardens and Tower Ballroom, which host a range of bands from dance acts like Basement Jaxx and The Prodigy, to Indie kids and rockers like The Killers, Arctic Monkeys and Biffy Clyro, or easy-listening and pop with the likes of Will Young, Peter Andre and Paulo Nutini.
