The country’s largest theatre, with a seating capacity of almost 3000, the Opera House is a famous venue.

The Courteeners

The Courteeners announce details of a UK tour for March 2010 to support their second album due for release in February. The band are also playing a sold out show at the 10,000 capacity Manchester Central in their home town on 11th December 2009.
The group have just completed the recording of their new album with producer Ed Buller (Suede, Pulp) at the helm and it was mixed in New York with the legendary Michael Brauer. A taster from this Cross My Heart & Hope To Fly will be available as a free download on December 7th from the bands website www.thecourteeners.com. In addition a 7 collectable single will also be available with an exclusive b-side. Fans can also pre-order the album at the same time and get the 7 along with their name printed in the album CD booklet.
Ronan Keating

Ronan will be taking to the stage in Blackpool to showcase classic tracks from his album 'Songs For My Mother' released in March this year as well as performing some of his greatest hits.
To date Ronan has released five solo albums, three of which went straight to number one. Ronan is listed in the Guinness Book Of Records for being the only artist ever to have 30 consecutive top 10 singles in the UK chart, having beat the likes of Elvis.
With two sell-out world tours under his belt, an Ivor Novello and BMI songwriting awards, an autobiography, a role as ambassador for Christian Aid and sales in excess of 22 million albums across the globe, Ronan’s lengthy and triumphant career shows no signs of slowing down just yet. In 2007 Ronan got back together with his chart-topping band Boyzone. 2008 and 2009 saw the band conquer the charts again and sell-out two arena tours. After the success of these tours, Ronan is looking forward to getting back out onto the road.
