The Blackpool Tower
The Blackpool Tower is a true British institution. It is the iconic feature of Blackpool’s famous seafront, and continues to bring as much joy to visitors as it did when it was first constructed in 1894.
Few attractions prove that #BlackpoolHasItAll quite like The Blackpool Tower, with five stunning attractions for all the family to enjoy. Best of all, with amazing deals like our Blackpool Resort Pass and special midweek offers for mothers and toddlers, enjoying the perfect day out has never been more affordable.
Let’s take a look at what you can expect:
The Blackpool Tower Eye
For a truly spectacular view of Blackpool, you need to head to the top of the tower. At 518ft tall, you’ll be pleased to know that there are lifts to the summit, where superb panoramic views await.
Here, you can gaze out at the beautiful Irish Sea and get a unique bird’s-eye view of Blackpool itself, while on clear days you can see as far as North Wales, the Lake District and the Isle of Man. The brave amongst you can also try out the glass floor, where you can peek straight down to the streets below.
Don’t forget to visit the spectacular 4D Cinema Experience too, where all your senses will be dazzled as you are taken on a trip down Blackpool’s memory lane.
The Blackpool Tower Circus
This year is going to be a very memorable one for the Circus’ resident clowns, Mooky and Mr Boo, as they celebrate 25 years at the helm of The Blackpool Tower’s iconic family treat. Bring the whole family for a jaw-dropping display of jokes, stunts and much more.
Ensure you don’t miss out on this very special anniversary and book your tickets today. For a truly special evening, why not go for the VIP Royal Box?
The Blackpool Tower Dungeon
If you’re looking for family fun in Blackpool, it doesn’t get much better than The Blackpool Tower Dungeons! This hilarious 60-minute show transports visitors back in time for a look at the spookier aspects of Blackpool’s history.
Enter the Dungeon and descend into the murky depths of Lancashire’s past where you’ll encounter torturers, witches and smugglers - all, while attempting to avoid the plague and Judge Blackheart’s intimidating courtroom.
Those of you lucky enough to survive until the end will experience one final thrill with the exhilarating Drop Dead ride.
Need somewhere for the kids to let off some steam? Look no further than Jungle Jim’s, where your little ones will enjoy exploring the Lost City and discovering an array of slides, swings and climbing frames.
That should be more than enough to keep them entertained while you relax with a cup of coffee!
Jungle Jim’s has a minimum height restriction of 4ft9, while there is a smaller area of the Lost City set aside just for toddlers.
The Blackpool Tower Ballroom
One of the world’s most magnificent ballrooms, nothing sums up the historic charm of Blackpool quite like the breathtaking Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
Designed by Victorian architect Frank Matcham, it’s something you truly have to experience first-hand to appreciate. Its famous tea dances occur daily, accompanied by a live organist. Bring your dancing shoes and hit the floor for a tango, waltz or foxtrot, or take a seat and simply soak up the atmosphere.
Look out for year-round themed nights that will allow you to dance the night away to your favourite music, while there are also great family days out to be enjoyed, such as the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
