The Dragonfly is also in an excellent position for the Illuminations and World Fireworks Championships. You can catch one of the illuminated trams or open top buses at North Pier to view the Golden Mile and six miles of the 'lights'. With the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Waterpark a short ride by tram or leisurely stroll along the prom. Cleveleys and Fleetwood are a tram ride in the opposite direction. By Car: By Car From the M55, take the first Blackpool turning signposted North Shore and Stanley Park; at the top of the slip road take the A583 into Blackpool. Keep on this road; passing a Windmill on your left-hand side, this is Preston new Road. Continue straight though all traffic lights until you come to the end of the road, where you will find a T Junction. At this junction you may only turn left, after this turn immediately right into Cookson Street, continue straight through first set of traffic lights, get into the right hand lane, at the junction / traffic lights turn left, while keeping in the right hand lane. The road goes round to the right, [You will see Wilkinsons Store on the corner], once you have passed Wilkinsons you need to get into the left hand side of the road, continue past Funnygirls on your right into Dixson Road. Continue along Dixson Road take the second turning on the right into Cocker Street, [Corner Cafe] then take next left into Lord Street, you will see the Blenheim on your right.
