Following the sad loss of his world famous cousin Psychic Paul, Ollie the Octopus from Blackpool is set to take over the family tradition and use his telepathic tentacles to predict major sporting events!

Having grown up together in Weymouth, Paul and Ollie went their separate ways in 2008 to different aquatic centres. Ollie stayed on English soil and headed to the bright lights of Blackpool, whereas Paul sailed across the channel to Oberhausen, in Germany.

During the World Cup this summer, Paul shot to fame due to his psychic skills, which saw him predict the result of a whopping eight out of eight World Cup games correctly! Paul retired shortly after, but Ollie continued to exercise his promotion predicting prowess in Blackpool, having inherited the tentacle tipping ability like his cousin.

An avid fan of the Tangerines, Ollie is named after Blackpool FC manager Ian Holloway, whose nickname is Ollie.
