Fancy a stroll in the park? Stanley Park - the jewel in Blackpool’s crown and recently voted Blackpool's favourite location is a real treat. Recently renovated and known as one of the North West's finest parks, stunning and colourful feature gardens, ornate fountains, lakes and woodlands, offer the backdrop to a tranquil and relaxing visit. Or take a stroll along historic North Pier and follow in the footsteps of millions who have made the same journey since it opened back in 1863. The impressive structure stretching out into the Irish Sea was the second of fourteen piers to be designed by Eugenius Birch and is now the oldest of his remaining creations still in use.
