It's Show Time!

With a capacity of almost 3,000, the Opera House Blackpool is one of the largest theatres in the UK and indeed Europe, also boasting one of the largest stages. Some of the greatest stars of the past including Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland and Bob Hope have performed on the stage as have today’s biggest names like Peter Kay, One Direction and Gary Barlow.

Many of the most popular touring shows have visited including ‘Joseph’, ‘Grease’, ‘Cats’ and ‘Priscilla Queen Of The Desert’ and the venue hosted the Royal Variety Peformance in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1955 and 2009.

The UK tour of the Olivier award-winning musical based on the music of Madness is coming to Blackpool!
On the night of his 16th birthday, Joe Casey takes the girl of his dreams, Sarah, out on their first date. In an effort to impress her with bravado, Joe breaks into a building site overlooking his home on Casey Street. When the police turn up, a split-second decision forces him to choose between himself and his heart as the story splits in two: one which sees Joe stay to face the music, and the other which sees him flee and leave Sarah to run from the police.

As two very different paths unfold before him, the consequences of that choice will change his life forever.
