CANCER Research UK is calling on women and girls in Blackpool to do something amazing this summer by joining the fight against cancer and signing up to Race for Life.

Cancer Research UK hopes to see these courageous women, joined by their family and friends - walking, jogging, dancing and sponsoring - whatever it takes to help save lives and hit cancer where it hurts!

Women are the heroes of Race for Life and they are being asked to take on cancer at this 5k course on 10th July on Blackpool Promenade.

Race for Life has already raised an amazing £493 million to fund Cancer Research UK’s life saving work since it began in 1994, but it does not stop there. In 2013 Cancer Research UK hopes to raise over £49 million. Cancer Research UK will keep on fighting until cures for all 200 types of cancer are found.
