Travelling to the event
Blackpool is easily accessible from all parts of Great Britain. There are good road, rail, air and sea links to bring you directly to Britain’s favourite beach resort
By car
The M55 links the town with the M6 and the country's motorway network and by train, you need to head to Preston station and catch one of the four connecting trains which run each hour. Please Note: The Promenade will be closed from Pleasant Street (by the Carlton Hotel) to Chapel Street (by Central Pier)
Parking
There is no designated car parking for this event.
Long stay car parks in Blackpool are located on: Bonny Street and Central Drive (located off Seasiders Way). Directions for car parking are located off the M55 motorway, along Yeadon Way leading onto Seasiders Way.
By Taxi
The Taxi ranks located on the Promenade to Market Street, Corporation Street, Adelaide Street West and Bank Hey Street will not be in operation
Public Transport
Line numbers 1, 2,3,4,5,7,9,10,11,14,15,16 and 17 all stop within easy walking distance of the Tower Festival Headland.
Blackpool's famous trams will operate services between Starr Gate and Manchester Square (south of the event area) and

Train
Services from Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, York and Preston terminate at Blackpool North Station which is a short walk to the headland.
Services from Blackburn and Preston terminate at Blackpool South Station. Bus 5 or 16 will then take you into Blackpool centre for the headland.
