Whether you love a classical concert, are a pop prince or princess, or love to rock out, Blackpool has plenty to offer in terms of live music.

JLS at the 2009 Blackpool Illuminations Switch On The annual Illuminations weekend offers a great chance to see your favourite acts. 2013 Switch On will take place on the Tower Festival Headland on 30 August.

A whole series of FREE concerts run at Stanley Park bandstand from June to September; from classical to jazz and musicals to modern favourites performed by the very best local talent.

Snap up tickets early for concerts in the Winter Gardens, Tower Ballroom and North Pier, which host a range of bands from dance acts like Katy B and Fatboy Slim, to indie kids and rockers like The Killers, Arctic monkeys and kaiser Chiefs, or easy-listening and pop with the likes of Will Young, One Direction and Jedward.
