Local residents and businesses are proud to celebrate St Georges Day, the town will be awash in red and white. Lytham is a traditional coastal town which truly is a North West Coastal gem, elegant and relaxing, in a class of its own.

23rd April - Flag Raising -

24th April - Tea Dance - The first event this year will be an all new one, a relaxing afternoon of entertainment and tea dancing to be held on the 24th of April between 1pm-4pm in the grand Marquee on Lytham Green. Live music will be courtesy of the fantastic Bill Barrow Quartet with vocalist Lynne Fox. Ticket price is £12.50 which will include tea or coffee to be served at 2pm and a fish and chips lunch. Other drinks will be available from the bar to purchase.

Wednesday 24th April - The comedy night returns to the St. George’s Day Festival with an all new line up and hosted by the ever reliable Phil Walker.
This year’s line up includes:
Jamie Sutherland: Liverpool has a history for producing some of the country’s finest comedy talent, and Jamie Sutherland can now be added to that fine list. A headline act on the comedy circuit, working for some of the country’s finest clubs including Sheffield Last Laugh, Jongleurs, and Comedy Central.

Mike Newall: A gentle, amiable powerhouse of a comic, Mike’s timing is the envy of performers with ten times the experience and is living proof that you can’t learn to be funny, some people just are. Since making his debut in 2003, he has toured the country honing his skills and is now a force to be reckoned with.

25th April - St. George’s Golf Tournament
This year to celebrate Lytham’s great golfing tradition on the 25th April we are hosting a 36 team, competitive day out, on one of the most famous courses in Britain. The Lytham Green Drive Golf Club. Each team will consist of four players with teams having the option to include a celebrity within their line-up!
The cost for each team to enter is £300 which includes seats at the sportsman’s dinner. The day promises to be an extravaganza of competitor guile and friendly participation with the winning team taking home the inaugural St George’s day trophy!

25th April - Sportsman’s Dinner
The finale of this thrilling day of action will be a sumptuous Rugby themed sportsman’s dinner hosted at the Lytham Green marquee, with local caterer Paul Hunter providing the food. The price for attendance at this banquet is £200 for a table of 10 or £25 for an individual ticket, participating golf teams have dinner included within their entry.

26th April - Festival Lunch and Evening Music Event - Grab your hats and dresses! Acting as a prelude to the Black Tie Ball, the St. George’s Day Lunch offers the same standard of luxury and entertainment but allows attendees to languish in the afternoon sun. A three course gourmet meal will be quickly followed by music from the renowned Daniel Sings.

Individual’s tickets for this fabulous luncheon are priced at £55.00 while a table of 10 will cost £500.00. So come down to Lytham Green on the 26th and wile away the afternoon from 12:00-18:00 with sumptuous food in a serene setting.

27th April - St Georges Day Parade - tbc
27th April - Black Tie Dinner - Join us for an evening of high quality dining and entertainment. The St George’s Day Black Tie Ball is the pinnacle of the festival’s celebration and offers a high quality gourmet meal provided by a fantastic local caterer alongside the irrefutable entertainment of Ian Hooper and his band.
The night starts with a champagne reception followed by a traditional performance of Beating the Retreat. It will be held in the Lytham Green Marquee which will be suitably prepared to reflect the indulgence of the evening. Doors open at 7:00pm with the merriment expected to come to close at around 1:00am. This event offers individuals and businesses the rare opportunity to socialise and network and is consistently the highlight of the festival. Individual tickets cost £60 and a table of 10 costs £550.

28th April - Family Fun Day - tbc
